I haven't had any snarky cat stamps before, but I recently bought some, and they are so much fun! I made Christmas cards for my grandkids using them. I stamped and clear heat embossed them to make then easier to color. I am not the world's best with markers. All are on background paper sprayed with distress mica spray. I use that on almost everything now, because I love that sparkle! A couple of them are spattered with gold acrylic paint.
