Happy Birthday Wildflowers Mixed Media

Nothing says happy birthday like a sweet bouquet of wildflowers cut from Tim Holtz Sizzix Dies.

I make these wildflower cards by the dozens and just paste a sentiment for whatever occasion I need. This one was for a friend's birthday.

The background was a pale pink, yellow & orange watercolor, with stenciled hearts and dots in Distress Oxide Pickled Raspberry and Wild Honey. I used Ranger Texture Paste to stencil some zebra-like lines.

I cut the wildflowers, smooshed two of the three with Peacock Feathers and left the third one white. The Happy Birthday sentiment was cut from a sheet of Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Strips.

The panel was finished off with pink rhonestones, mounted on pink cardstock and then on a pale yellow card base. Voila!
